Cambodia's like the Africa of SEA. It's completely 3rd world. In the other countries you got expats and sexpats. You got those too in Cambodia of course, but there you've also got something called "deathpats". A lot of foreigners who go there end up dead. Some of the ones you meet you just know will never make it out alive. They oversose on drugs, commit suicide, and get murdered. It's not even a big deal there when the body of a foreigner is found. The police, more like the mafia, won't do too much to investigate if you end up getting stabbed or beaten to death. And you might get shot too because guns are easy to get there and criminals have them.
I had a f*cker try to rob me with a dirty syringe one time at about 2 in the morning by the river front in Phnom Penh. He could tell I used ice too cause he mentioned something about it. Could tell by the way I was walking. I seen what he was fixing to do though and kept him at a good distance before getting out of there by pulling out my knife without flicking out the blade. I figured if I opened the blade it would cause his friends to attack me. I also remember yelling something in Chinese at him just to throw him and anyone else who might be lurking around off, lol.
