I don't know why some people think europe is much more accepting of age gaps. Literally every single couple I see looks the exact same age.
Personal example: Schools here have all people from ages of 11-18 in it, not 14-18 like American high schools. When I was 17 I approached a decent amount of 11-13yo girls in my school, they would talk back at first, but then lose all interest the moment I said I was 17. Even the 14 year olds went away, despite it being only a 3 year age difference. They all rejected a 17-18 year old guy for some 5'2 ugly undeserving kid who is their age.
Fear mongering makes them think dating any older guy is bad or “predatory” so they stick with the clueless underdeveloped idiots their age.
