An irresponsible person might have an underlying illness advancing and he knows what it is. But he rather not see any doctor because he doesn't want to hear those words. Instead, he makes doctors into bad people inside his mind. He goes the extra step and degrades them into dummies with paid credentials. Ah, yes, denial soothes worry.

A person with faith might have an underlying illness advancing and so he knows what it is. But he has a strong conviction in his faith and believes whatever the Almighty decides, so be it. Who is he to disagree with magnificence? He knows his body is temporary. He knows everyone dies. So why tempt faith and see a doctor to hear those words and be tempted with treatments that are known to make people sicker? If it was meant to be, so be it.

I've seen healthy people keep themselves fortified by eating right and exercising daily. But one night, the person trips and hits his head. He dies. Or has a car accident, not his fault. An elder has a medical situation that caused a head-on collision. He dies.

But what happens if the person is irresponsible and has faith during a ponder of the advancing underlying illness?
