Tbh depends on the severity of it, many of the times it's not actually the bite itself but the soft tissue and a recessed chin.

If it was a bigger overbite then it's logical, doing bimax because ur lower lip is 1-3 mm's behind your upper lip is retarded (same goes for bite), or just for cww in general.

Around 2mm overjet is normal, same for overbite. 6mm+ overjet, 4mm+ overbite can cause functional issues that impact dental and overall health

It’s not just incisor overjet, you have to look at the molar relationship too.

Annoying for my case because the incisor overjet is small but the molar overjet is large - not large enough to justify extracting premolars - which makes orthodontic preparation difficult.
