Yes bro mewing definetly will give you 30° upswing and 15 mm forward growth after age of 8 just make sure to butt clench and chin tuck .

Bone smashing is ironically more legit than mewing. At least with bone smashing there’s potential for progress (no one shows results because it’s too aspie to associate with). Mewing “results” have countlessly demonstrated that it’s all placebo.

If your antegonial notch is caused by angularity at the gonions there is no problem. If it is caused by downward growth it’s pretty much over.

Search this forum for “forward clenching”. IMO it’s cope but it could be more feasible than mewing and even chewing.

It's always caused by downward growth. People with perfect forward growth have no or very little notch.

If you are considering bimax then you might as well get implants to fill in the notch. Bimax will only bring your mandible forward, it won't change its shape.

I would get implants but I want to play in contact sports, and I'm afraid that the implant is going to get messed up. I'm not too concerned with the antegonial notch, just the general downward growth of the mid to anterior body of the mandible. It genuinely looks as if somebody took a forward grown jaw, cut it at the antegonial notch, and fused a downward grown jaw. Is it tough luck not to get any bone born solution to this issue?
