It was the population explosion in the 1800s that first fucked the dating landscape, and made women only go for the top guys because they had more options with higher population density.
This is why population is collapsing even in countries where most women don't have internet such as north Korea.
The decline of marriage, the automobile, T.V., magazines, books, internet, cities, airplanes, social media, and dating apps all added to it. Technology is layered on at an exponential pace decreasing the percentage of guys women allow into their life.
