Let me start this off with saying I’m already pretty tall (statistically speaking at least). My family is fairly tall and I megadosed vitamin D in my teenage years for depression, so maybe that helped with it. Anyways, I’m 6’2 (189cm). Last night I was hanging out with my LTR and when I was getting up to leave I stood on my tip toes for a second, which makes me about 6’4-6’5, to stretch my calves. Then I hear from behind me “I wish you were always that tall”... at that moment my heart sank into my stomach and I wanted to go full PSL autist on her. I felt so shit about myself even though I’m taller than 98-99% of the people I see. Women are truly NEVER, and repeat NEVER satisfied with what they have. They always want more.

Aren't women in the Netherlands 5'6-7 on average? When I stand next to someone that's 5'10/11 (I'm 5'7.5) I don't feel that short, and as a woman they'd be expecting a larger height difference too.

I mean as long as you have other above average traits I guess it compensates, especially when you're not particularly short.

Yeah even though I'm a manlet I didn't notice how my height was fucking me over until I browsed these forums, did pretty well despite being so short (I'd guess 5'7.5 here is like 5'10 in the Netherlands since the average is like two inches below).
