Not necessarily. Average height is usually good enough here, just don't be a manlet (sub 5'9). You don't need to be 6'2+ or anything like that, in most cases.
I've seen plenty of tall girls who dated guys hardly any taller than themselves.

At 6'1, I anecdotally feel that I am at the 90th percentile in the US (which is what current stats indicate).

Zoomer height is not as exaggerated as it's made out to be. However, Generation Alpha will be a different story because they are being born after the explosion of efficient online dating.
