High IQ is useless if you don't know how to use it correctly. There are many high IQ people who make bad choices and end up as incels, drug addicts or murderers.

A certain level of IQ is always required to be successful, but wisdom is required to improve mental health and have long term goals.

For example having high IQ doesn't stop you from becoming a gambling addict, but wisdom does.
