The famines were unintentional apparently because the USSR due to its state ownership of the production of goods wasnt able to properly distribute the food. (Some argue that Stalin did it intentionally to root out those unsympathetic to the soviet cause or w/e.)

The holocaust was intentional in that it was industrialized for the purpose of accomplishing the goal which was the "annihilation of the jewish race"

Why would Israel recognize the Holodomor, they didn't even exist when it happened.

Those laws against holocaust denials are simply wrong, when Romania adopted this law there was a huge public outcry, there are almost no Jews left now in Romania, no one gives a shit about this, and there were other more important laws needed to be adopted than this one.
