It's more like our prime years are just too short. Physical decline begins at 23 and mental decline begins at 25 yet we only start sexual maturity at roughly 10-12 and dont finish it until around 18-20. So you basically only have about 6 years of actual prime life and everything else is either a maturing stage or a decline. Truly brutal when compared to most other animals that live about 60% of their lives in prime even if that life is a short one

Based. Average human should unironically be a hunter gatherer with a lifespan of 40

I wish that were the case but even olympians are all retired well before 30, rare to even see any competing above 25. Even the best genetics in the world are capped hard to their prime years

footballers peak at 30 its different for sprinters strongmen and most other games they peak at 30

Footballers dont peak physically, theyve just accumulated more skill. With strongmen or power lifting its a bit different because building strength to that level takes such a long time that you need roughly a decade of training or more to reach your absolute limit so its inevitable that youll hit that point outside of your prime. Skill and training can be accumulated overtime but on a biological level, your peak is going to be around 23

For what? Strength does take time to accumulate so there’s necessarily no point of talking about peak then. Sprinting yea men peak at 25-26 but motor skills level and athleticism combo peak at 30. Pure athleticism peake at 25. Like I said it depends on the metric if rate of MPS is your metric then men peak at 18 but that’s not truly a peak.

Humans should be able to live 200 years and age 2x as slow. Imagine how the world would be if being 40 was the equivalent of 20 and being 80 was the equivalent of 40 and being 160 was the equivalent of being 80. And being 200 was like being 100.

By biological peak I mean the ages before any amount of decline begins to set in. You can still of course get stronger during decline but lets say that you were able to transfer all the training and adaptions from training required to max out someones genetic potential and then insert that into their late teenage body. They will stay at and maintain peak performance until they hit roughly 23-25 and then the first signs of decline will begin. This isnt just in regards to athletics though, even things like skin and hair quality are on the decline by 25. I guess in this way I should be saying prime since people can peak at different ages but everyones prime potential and capability is when they are young

Agreed. But my claim is the genetic peak of good looking/ athletic individuals is 25-29 rather than 23-25. Good looking people on average have more bone which means the loss of buccal fat actually makes them look better if they keep Their skin and hair. For athletes physical degeneration happens only at 30 since their training leads to epigenetic changes which further their prime. And since motor control is a huge aspect of most sports the actual prime is 25-29. The average guy descends by 21- that is water.

And even among athletes the only ones that are competitive in their late 20s are playing sports that require something else other than pure athleticism.

In contrast the athletes that are actually indicate athleticism - like sprint runners already peak in their very early 20s. Almost no records are set above 23.

Testosterone already starts declining the moment you hit 20, but some cope by saying it doesn’t until 35.

Sprinting doesn’t require game sense position motor skills energy efficiency etc , it is just type 2 fibers contraction. Sprinting is an all round shit sport

Legit. They get more confident and experienced in ball games and whatever the fuck, but pure athleticism with zero thoughts and real planning in the moment itself is 22 peak.

Only sprinting component not strength

Cope. The reason why they're older is because they're developing the skill itself and use heavy roids so they're breaking nature, more time = more roids. It's really not that complicated.

Hell, even athleticism is really just the tip of the agepill iceberg. Other competitive skills like reaction time and and mental capacity also peaks in the early 20s.

As a proof, look at e-sport players. Their games don’t have any physical aspect whatsoever all of them retire in their 20s as their reaction time diminishes

E-sports is more brutal than ball games that are actually physical. 28 is grandpa tier and not for other reasons other than they turn to shit.

Natty comp follow the same rule. Sprinting requires a different type of muscle fiber than strength or something like marathon running. Motor skills are a huge part of the game as well . That’s y football niggas peak at 28/29 like hazard it’s not because they got more “ confidence “ or whatever

Cope. The best soccer player to ever live literally walk like 60% of the match. You wanna talk about human peak look at ''pure sports'' like sprinting. See, you can't improve your sprinting that much. However you can improve your strength (and a lot) don't confuse it with age because if you could get the same experience / muscle mass at age 22 (hypothetically) you would mog your 32' self.

Marathons is also a skill you develop you don't wake up one day and can run a Marathon. You need fuck tons of training and experience. You do however, wake up and being one of the fastest people alive. They're improving their shit by the millisecond that's how little training helps (objectively, not against other really really fast people)

Pure strength / Athleticism peak at around 22 and skill and experience change the course for sports you can greatly improve in. You need to give the 22yo the same learned skill and experience, and (not possible) the total amount of roids the other strongman already took to get where they got to.

You know how to make it shorter. Just do it(in GTA)

I would like to die at a young age, bhai.

Cos healthcare and medicine has just prolonged the human life for not much reason
This could happen with all animals in theory
