90% of the rich men dating girls, even if not good looking, are not being betabuxxed. Money makes someone more attractive. If you actually have very rich friends, you will see that the idea of being high status and wealthy physically attracts women. The examples of betabuxx only include very ugly or short men, but these are not as common as you think, and I'd say that perhaps this applies to 10% of rich men (although even 10% is probably too high)
Everything in attraction that comes from a woman is based on status. Status includes wealth but looks are also a part of your status. Even good looks are fundamentally based in status, in that, having a good looking boyfriend is something you can show off to your friends. Like I already said, women have a lower sex drive, and so although looks are important, they're not the utmost important. So the allure of showing off a good looking friend to your friends and getting clout for that is even more important than her actual lust for that man.
Women lust for clout, attention, and status much moreso than any sort of innate sex drive. Dating a good looking man, a rich man, a high status man, a powerful one, all get you that attention. They're all part of the same equation. If you don't understand this, you're the one bluepilled, not me.
