A wide Bitemporal width makes the face look more balanced and frames the jaw
While a narrow one makes the face look compressed and unbalanced
Look at these few examples:
Despite Zayn Malik’s extremely short forehead, his face looks more framed and balanced
Extemely narrow temples seemed to have gave him his horseface, as his midface ratio and FWHR are actually average.
Wider temples make his face look less horse-like, and makes him look more balanced in general
