Let’s assume that two groups, “Chad” (high attractiveness) and “incel” (low attractiveness), have different probabilities of “success” in social or romantic interactions. For instance, we could estimate Chad’s success rate at 30% (0.3) per interaction, while an incel’s success rate might be as low as 1% (0.01) per interaction.

Even with this very low probability of success for an incel, it is still a non-zero value. This means that increasing the number of attempts (or interactions) will gradually increase the likelihood of at least one success. For example, if an incel attempts 100 interactions with a 1% success rate, he might expect one successful outcome on average. With 200 attempts, the expected successes increase to around two. This illustrates the “numbers game” concept, where persistence can lead to eventual success even if the rate per attempt is very low.

The concept of the “numbers game” ties into the effects of blackpill and bluepill ideologies. The blackpill ideology suggests that physical attractiveness and status (“sexual market value” or SMV) are the primary determinants of romantic success, often leaving individuals with lower SMV feeling hopeless. This extreme pessimism can reduce the number of attempts an individual is willing to make, effectively reducing their chances of success even further. In contrast, the bluepill ideology emphasizes self-improvement, optimism, and the development of social skills. By encouraging individuals to put in consistent effort and adopt a positive outlook, the bluepill mindset helps increase the number of interactions an incel might pursue, thereby enhancing his quality of life and his chances of success through sheer persistence.

To quantify this difference, consider a numerical example. Suppose an incel has a 1% success rate. However, under the influence of blackpill pessimism, he limits his interactions to only 10 attempts because he believes his success rate is nearly zero. With only 10 attempts, his probability of any success is 10%. This negative mindset significantly limits his likelihood of finding success. On the other hand, if the same individual adopts a bluepill mindset, which encourages consistent effort and self-belief, he might increase his attempts to 100. With a 1% success rate, his probability of at least one success across 100 attempts is approximately 63%. By increasing his efforts, he greatly improves his odds of success, despite the same low baseline probability.

TLDR: blue pill is of course keeping you blind from the truth but that ironically increases your odds of getting sex.

Over for crying non-trycels
