The last 3 days the same car has pulled away each time I've cycled past it

So, on Friday I think, I cycled past this car that was waiting halfway on the pavement. I cycled past it and it didn't move

Now, the last 3 days, this same car has pulled away and driven off each time I come close, even though I'm not cycling right past it

It's strange. Why are they pulled up waiting only to drive off without picking anyone up etc? It's like they see me and drive off. Perhaps it's a sign of a simulation. Or they're watching me
