I absolutely love when I’m not at home. Being in a different city where nobody knows you is liberating, ten times more if it’s also in a foreign country.

Whenever you are home, you are bound by yourself trying to behave in a way that’s appropiate long term, but when you are on the move, this pressure doesn’t exists;

you know you are only there for the moment, you’ll soon leave, your behaviour have very little consequences on your reputation

I love being in foreign environments where I’m an outsider , it feels like playing a game rather than mundane life back at home
