the biggest difference a good maxilla makes is light will bounce of you in a more aesthetic way like look at pattinson here for example he has recessed maxilla

The black guy has a better maxilla and you can see it looks like a hole in pattinsons face but his face structure is still better due to higher cheekbones and more square jaw
