Fuck Kentucky there's nothing to do here, I'm about to turn 19 in a few weeks, parents are forcing me to go to community college rn, shit sucks cuz everybody can tell I'm ND, ong there is nothing to do here wish I lived in some place like Florida. I just want to LDAR and rot at home Ping pong is kind of fun rn though I play at this rec center, also all 5 my "friends" fucking ditched me from high school

Why don't you leave dummy? Go up to AK and work at one of those fish processers on Kodiak or whatever for a couple months. Silver Bay always gets back to me when I reach out to them. I've got no experience but they always want to set up an interview. If you can pay for the flight you'll earn at least 8k after taxes, and little chance to spend any of it while you're there, with round trip flight reimbursement after 2 month contract's complete. With that you can just leave your daily hell. That's enough to go to Vietnam for a couple of years without having to work. But you can teach there immediately and earn way more than any "good" entry level job in the US.

Hey, you knows what? It might not be your thing but if you got at least a couple thousand, to pay your way (Visa, plane ticket, and a couple months food/rent) I can put you in touch with someone who will have you teaching English in Vietnam in less than two months.

Not trying to sell you anything. Just a better situation until you figure out what you want to do. Might sound daunting but you can just show up and rent without proof of employment or anything. Most countries are like that. If you're from a Western English speaking country you'll find a job within your first week, or the guy I can put you in touch with can have that situated for you before you arrive. He don't take money from the schools like a recruiter or anything. The guy just likes to help because there's a lot of gatekeepers in the teaching English abroad industry that put a lot of misinformation online which keeps people from following their dreams.

You'll be making enough to rent a fully furnished two bedroom apartment in a good district and still save a ton. "Full time" salaried gigs will take up about 28 of your precious hours a week so there will be plenty of time to live. No degree or experience necessary.

I taught for 7 years in China. Sucks coming back to the US to rent an apartment and make so much less than what I was used to in China. My wife has her US citizenship now though and we can finally move back abroad. I've only got a high school diploma. Six months from now I'll be supporting her, myself, and our 4 year old teaching English in Eastern Europe.

You can do this sort of thing anywhere around the world really. Vietnam or Cambodia is just a good starter country.

If you're going to community college it's really because you don't know what else to do with your life. You secretly want your family to push you in that direction. That's ok too.

I'd argue Louisville is practically in there
