The more scared you are, the more real your fears become

Both in a mental sense and a literal sense

When I become anxious I get extremely serious and uptight, which is the exact opposite of who I truly am when nobody is looking

Really that’s the worst way to approach life if you’re interested in actually living it and not just going through motions

Life is so funny that you have to laugh

Otherwise you’ll miss the joke

For example, the longer I put off shit like working, appointments, surgeries, etc the more my reality shifts towards everything I don’t want. If I don’t change and I live the same way I am now (and have for all my life honestly) I will become something I despise and am deeply afraid of

So change is the scariest and most uncomfortable thing to do, but the only things that’s worse is stagnation, because then you neglect why you felt that urge to change in the first place

Basically change is a requirement to life just like drinking and breathing, if you never change and stay comfortable, can you even call that a life? It’s like taking a trip to the end of the street and back, you won’t meet anyone worth meeting or see anything worth seeing, that’s what a waste of life is
