I hope to die by the hands of someone else but I wouldn't mind suicide either.
I don't see suicide as a way to escape life but rather as a way to take responsibility, follow someone in death or prove that one stand by their own words.
If I ever killed myself, it would have to be for one of those reasons.

I don't know what awaits me in life, but I'm certain it won't be a peaceful death either by old age or sickness.
