Why’re some evolved features unattractive and others attractive?

Long legs are an evolved feature (apes’ legs are short and stubby) are attractive.

Wide skull (like Jack-Ma-tier) is an evolved feature and is unattractive.

Women prefer primitive features even though enlarging brains and shrinking jaws are 2 of the biggest trends in human evolution. Why are females attracted to features that natural selection selected against?

varies, asians don't have brow ridges, so naturally they have no cultural or instinctual preference towards it, same goes for the jaw, strong jaws aren't considered attractive in most of that part of the world (and they're most of the human population too), they also practiced arranged marriages for as far as DNA evidence goes (some parts of asia have a 1:1 male female reproductive rate based on DNA evidence compared to 1:3 in europe and 1:4 in africa) which means they never selected for appearance that aggressively.

some parts of the world still have comparatively short legs, mine is one of them, we have abnormally long torsos instead, same goes for some asian cultures but they're not as tall which means they're not competitive in sports such as swimming.

attraction is very complicated, and even good features eventually reach a point where they're uncanny.
