The ideas predicated in these forums are unironically 10+ years ahead of the curve. Ik users like to shit on these places because of the demographics that frequent them but the common notion you get regarding crypto, internet culture, western hemisphere politics, the modern dating market, human nature and sociodynamics were/are, not only correct but discovered and shared well before the majority of the populous even knew what a bitcoin or 'mog' was. If you've been dwelling on these forums for a while now you've practically seen it all come to fruition.

No where else on the internet is this based.

This may be a bit melodramatic but in all honesty I think it runs even deeper than that. Elections, financial markets, subcultures followed by millions substantially swayed by literal basement dwelling autists on 4chan.

Adding to @ElTruecel point, youngcels may not reconcile, but if you go through the various archives it's like looking into mildly distorted, yet accurate prediction of modern times. It's almost absurd how correct they were.
