You need to be tall, first and foremost, to make QUALITY male friends (no homo).
Bring good looking will enhance this as the halo effect will make dudes want to associate with you (again, no homo).
While you can still make friends as sub5, it will usually be autists, outcasts and fellow uggos. Speaking from experience.
I do have some HTN Chadlite acquaintances but they will always try to one up you in social situations. Not worth it IMO.
