How to improve your posture
IMG 5992

Ill try to make this as efficient as possible.

Posture is extremely imporant and has benefits that are often overlooked. You can gain between 0.5-1.5 inches in height, your belly will look flatter, your jawline will be much sharper, your percieved facial attractiveness will increase, you will feel healthier with less back strain, you will look more dominant/wider framed.
Im not gonna explain too much about why posture is so important, but trust me when i say it was a life changer for me.

I only care about ROI (return on investment), meaning that we want the maximum returns for the least amount of effort.

So with this posture guide, the most high roi routine is to spend 10 minutes everyday doing these exercises.

2 5 minute blocks: one in the morning, one in the evening.

I researched these exercises deeply for myself so i wont be explaining them and why they work. You will also have to look up the correct form on youtube for some of these exercises.

Each exercise targets different postural issues, and ive put the ones that have the most returns on your looks and health as a priority. (Forward head posture, anterior pelvic tilt, rounded shoulders)

Here is the routine
Morning Activation Block (~5 Mins)

Standing Chin Tucks Against Wall
Volume: 2 sets × 12 reps (2s hold at peak retraction)
Target: Forward Head Posture

Doorway Pec Stretch
Volume: 2 sets × 45 seconds
Target: Rounded Shoulders & Internal Rotation

Kneeling Hip Flexor Stretch
Volume: 2 sets × 45 seconds per side (continuous cycling)
Target: Anterior Pelvic Tilt

Evening Reset Block (~5 Mins)
Resistance Band Pull-Aparts
Volume: 2 sets × 20–25 reps (1s squeeze at peak)
Target: Rounded Shoulders & Upper Back Weakness

RKC Planks
Volume: 3 sets × 20–30 seconds
Target: Anterior Pelvic Tilt (Max Glute & Lower Ab Lock)

Dead Bugs
Volume: 2 sets × 10 reps per side
Target: Anterior Pelvic Tilt (Deep Core Stability Under Extension)

Chest/Shoulder Extension Stretch
Volume: 1 minute
Target: Thoracic Opening & Shoulder Protraction

The Non Negotiable Rule:

Sleep on your back.

Keeps your spine neutral, stops your shoulders from collapsing forward for 8 hours, and removes pressure on your face.

Remember, you wont see results immediately. This is the kind of looksmax that will take consistency and discipline, but you will grow to love it, its a form of meditation. Major results can vary between 4-6 months of consistent work. After 2 weeks, your body should start to slowly adapt. Same as going to the gym, you wont notice it until one day you look back at a picture of yourself and realise how bad your posture was.

I reccomend taking a picture of your side posture and keeping it. You could even throw it into chatgpt or gemini to analyse which parts of your posture need most improving.

Also fun fact: mewing does not start in the mouth, it starts from your body posture. The straighter your posture, the more force you can exert into the roof of your mouth with your tongue.
