Prior to the war, most of Europe was openly and vehemently antisemitic. There even was an emerging Fascist Youth movement gaining significant momentum in Poland. They were pretty much entirely ideologically aligned with the Hitler Youth, openly emulating Italian Fascism.

Nazis being the retards that they are, immediately at the outbreak of the war began ruthlessly liquidating its leadership. As the Gestapo relentlessly hunted its members, the organization transitioned underground to mount an aggressive resistance that lasted throughout the war, executing countless high-value Gestapo targets, sabotaging vital Axis logistical infrastructure, and maintaining highly sophisticated espionage cells.

Take Jadwiga Wajsówna for instance, a famous Polish Olympian. Her family was deeply involved in the Polish Fascist Youth movement, so much so that her brother was imprisoned by the pre-war Polish government for his radical political activism.

The Gestapo tracked Jadwiga down and tortured her for information, and demanded that she sign the Volksliste, claiming that her surname proved she was of Germanic ancestry. When she insisted that she was Polish, the Gestapo subjected her to such savage beatings that she lost all her teeth, while her husband was beaten so severely that he later died from his injuries.

This post is proof that nationally-oriented fascism is untenable in the long term, because ultimately the national characteristics and personal paranoia embodied in the leader will cause the fascist movement to stupidly chase an aesthetics dream, instead of engaging in clear headed thought, and end up as an impotent embarrassment like Evola, a cocaine addict like D'Annunzio or a dead embarrassment like Mussolini.
