you should spend 6-12 months in the gym

to build a foundation of strength

after that, you'll switch to hybrid mode between calisthenics and gym

this will build insane strength per pound

you will also get an insanely aesthetic body

im a lightweight boxer, for my first year of lifting i did hypertrophy first to lose body fat and recomp my body, 2nd year i did strength training and now im switching to explosive training combined with strength

For my weight cuts i dont need to cut much, just 4-6 pounds of water and my fueled-up weight is 69-70kg.

im 10% body fat for my comp because i need the speed, footwork, cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance and less tightness/lactic acid in between rounds.

i believe 10-12% is ideal for speed and strength, you're on a solid path
