The next generation of manual transmissions

This is something I've wanted for a while in a sports car

A manual transmission that can be switched to automatic mode when you feel like it (traffic etc)

Basically a DCT transmission with a manual-by-wire gearbox

gets old for me

i need a third pedal

this where a lot of people think the industry is headed because it also means manufacturers can cut costs, instead of developing two transmissions (auto and manual) they can have one and add a gear by wire mechanism

have u daily driven a high horsepower manual? a 6 puck stage 3 clutch gets old quick in traffic

ive been doing it for multiple years but holy fuck would it be nice to switch to auto during peak traffic

modern stock clutches are like babies so of course the average daily driver is not a problem..

i had a stage2 m47 manual it was fine also with a welded diff and dailyed didnt get tired
