The reason people fondly remember the ‘old internet’ (90’s to late 2000’s) was because it waa made up mostly of middle class white people, interactions were more polite and constructive, it was a more exclusive place
With the advent of cheap smartphones, hundreds of millions of ethnics flooded the internet and turned it into the slop it is today
