The one time that being the quiet kid worked to my advantage

In university I had a class as part of my course where we had to attend for 2-3 hours on Thursday evenings and Friday mornings and if we missed more than 3 classes we had to repeat the entire year.
It was meant to be some hands on lab shit where you learn by attending but it was a bullshit class.

I forget how many classes I missed but it was less than 4 anyway so I didn't have to repeat.
One time my friend came to visit me in uni on a Thursday so that we could go out that night since it was the best night of the week.
I went into the class on Thursday evening and was present for the roll call but when class split off into little groups there was a moment where the teachers were either with groups or out of the room so I just got my bag and walked out of the class 5 minutes after it began so that I could chill with my mate back at my house and I saved myself 2-3 hours of bullshit.

When I came in the following day nobody said anything to me about going missing after the roll call because I was that irrelevant nobody probably even noticed me there at the start
