Back in high school
I used to hate my life so much I felt a constant disregard for it
My life felt worthless and meaningless. It always has to some degree, but it became much worse in my teens.
The interesting thing is I found a freedom in my hopelessness and carelessness. I was free to enrapt myself in soulless ecstasy.
To be honest, it did satisfy me to some degree.
Now that I have hope for a better future, I don’t find the same freedom. Nobody is ever truly free. You just seek freedom in the aspect where it matters to you. But there’s always a sacrifice.
Never sacrifice something that means something to you.
