literally nothing else matters to them, because it’s through the temple they have superior authority over the whole earth, symbolically and they believe literally.
Anything they do in the Middle East, and the rest of the world is for that one aim only, because of Islam and the Dome of the rock, getting back the Temple Mount is a problem that is next to impossible to solve. That red line if they cross it will unite the whole Muslim world against them, yet they have been actively preparing to clear the mount and build it.
The plan is, do everything possible to make crossing that line bearable, cross it and unite the Muslim world against them, then the messiah will be forced to reveal himself and solve that impossible problem because it forces Gods hand to prevent the total destruction of his people, supposedly. I don’t see how this could play out in more than 6 months to a year, they have destroyed their peace agreements with the gulf states and gone all out on their biggest threat Iran. They have already shown their hand to everyone now no point waiting around.
