ive been browsing botb for ATLEAST a year now, and on some occasion hop on ratings just to look and shit, ive only made an account here because my hair, at a very very young age (16) has started falling out, i have a bald spot at the back of my head KINDA, but its obvious im balding to anyone taller than me which, isnt hard to be. im 5,11, but fraud to 6,1 with height boosters and other shit. if anybody touches my hair and runs their hand through it its very obvious of my thin hair. this makes it hard to style my hair in ways that makes it look like im not balding. i went to a doctor 2 days ago since noticing, which i noticed too late. hopping on fin is a LARGE no until im atleast 18. hopefully my hairloss is due to deficiencies and NOT hormones. back to the topic on why i joined, because tlaking to people that may have had the same experience as me would probably be more helpful

I am just coping with hair systems myself right now, because I went bald around 19-20 and I was baited to 'just shave it off bro' at Norwood2-3 and I didn't realize just how brutal being bald was until like 2-3 years ago but I am Norwood4-5 now.

just use minoxidil nightly it’ll help preserve and regrow hair until ur ready to use finasteride. if it is due to deficiency look into that, maybe take some biotin and minerals but for guys it’s usually hormonal.

I am 29 right now, and I don't know if my hair is recoverable in the first place even with a transplant and medication.
This is what it looked like before I shaved myself for the hair system (and an after pic too)

So for now, I am just using a hair system because I really don't know if I can recover this anymore

And here are the hair systems I am currently using (both long and short hair)

I guess I can theoretically get a transplant eventaully and then stick with a frontal topper to cover the remaining bald spots

Starting young is the reason to act now rather than the reason to panic. The earlier it starts the more total years it has to progress, which is exactly why the people who hold the most are the ones who dealt with it in the first two years.
Handle the DHT side first, that's what stops the process. Minoxidil comes second, it thickens what's there but changes nothing about the cause.

Don't do DTH blockers during puberty anyway. Rather try topical anti androgens like ru-5884.
