i wrote i whole long essay but i deleted it because i thought it was bad, anyways my point being parents are neglectful and will mostly social isolate their kids by disabling the internet for them at least, which is social isolation. So long as they y'know go to the police nothing bad will happen to them other than maybe some vandals but like its pretty (wouldn't happen if the police actually cared about their job) unlikely.

It wont negatively effect their school life taking away their internet, even whilst young will. The main reason why i think most kids wont report it to their parents is because they view their parents as being kind of tyrannical and i mean most are. Nethertheless if you or someone underage you know is being sexual blackmailed your life isnt over they cant send it to anyone you know and if they did tell the person you are being sexually blackmailed and they'll be forced to not view the content. Its not the end of your life just report it, it wont matter in a year or three

sorry if this is poorly written, i wrote this in a rush .

TLDR: kids have a false perception, parents are tyrannical and unjustly rule out rules which a child is forced to obey, creating a cycle where children are rewarded to lie or hide information by not having to go through a negative experience their parents put them through. Henceforth why most dont report or report very late
