what are you grinding towards anyways? money? it can't fill the hole in your soul no matter the amount unless you use it to satisfy your primal instincts like eating, sex, shelter, etc. we really don't need anything else besides those things as humans. speaking as someone who was born into wealth

I grow up poor so it feels great to make money, I'm fat so it feels great to get in shape, i grew up ugly so it feels great to improve looks etc I enjoy lots of other things aswell just because I have a passion but its hard to explain that. Another reason also is just building up for my future family so that helps aswell. Maybe your just depressed or have nothing to look forward too and in that case maybe get a therapist and figure something out sounds like a pretty empty life to live

i'm not depressed at all, i just see things for how they are based on human nature. we like to search for meaning but really there is none if you think about it, we are brought here by random through years of evolution and all we've been doing since then is just coping and staying alive

nihilism is not pessimism, true nihilists still enjoy the good things about the world while still not being ignorant of the darker shades of the truth. pessimism is focusing too much on the negatives and forgetting to enjoy the finer things life has to offer. nihilism is a critical thinking system similar to the blackpill both of which are confused for thinking that they are defeatist beliefs by normies.
