The Opium Wars is one of the funniest shit I have ever seen.

At first, the British were desperate to trade with the Chinese(QING Dynasty) due to economic problems, but the Chinese weren't having it.

So what they did was, they schemed to force China to having to trade with them, by introducing a product. They illegally smuggled Opium(some smoking drug) into the country. The opium ruined the country and essentially made peasants into being more subhuman.

The Chinese knew that the British were doing this, so they were enraged. The british didn't give a fuck though. They offered trade talks so the opium would stop. The chinese again were not having it, so the British just went to war with them instead

It was one huge bully-fest of the chinese and other European or white countries joined in to gang on them.
