NOT A HATE THREAD, JUST EXPRESSING HOW I FEEL
Growing up as a Muslim the idea of Christianity to me felt kinda cool and it had aura because a lot of my friends were Christian. But as I got older and really delved into spirituality the vibe I got from Christianity was
- white walls
- empty churches
- depression
- the smell of freshly painted wood
Now all of this could be because people don’t go to church anymore. So naturally I think of Christianity as this dying religion. And depression goes hand in hand with Christianity because once I realized how contradictory the bible is and how twisted some of the different sects are within the religion, it reminded me of the cope Christians will say that “Jesus died for your sins” so the worst people who are fearing death accept Christ as their lord because they are afraid they will die and go to hell for their bad sins. They are depressed and need a way out. They don’t realize that just turning to God himself alone and not worshipping a man is sufficient enough.
But anyway that was how I as a Muslim viewed Christianity. I know I’m probably gonna see comments saying “ Islam = bomb or terroist” but always remember where those stereotypes originated (9/11) and remember who did 9/11… (Zionist)
