NOT A HATE THREAD, JUST EXPRESSING HOW I FEEL

Growing up as a Muslim the idea of Christianity to me felt kinda cool and it had aura because a lot of my friends were Christian. But as I got older and really delved into spirituality the vibe I got from Christianity was

- white walls
- empty churches
- depression
- the smell of freshly painted wood

Now all of this could be because people don’t go to church anymore. So naturally I think of Christianity as this dying religion. And depression goes hand in hand with Christianity because once I realized how contradictory the bible is and how twisted some of the different sects are within the religion, it reminded me of the cope Christians will say that “Jesus died for your sins” so the worst people who are fearing death accept Christ as their lord because they are afraid they will die and go to hell for their bad sins. They are depressed and need a way out. They don’t realize that just turning to God himself alone and not worshipping a man is sufficient enough.

But anyway that was how I as a Muslim viewed Christianity. I know I’m probably gonna see comments saying “ Islam = bomb or terroist” but always remember where those stereotypes originated (9/11) and remember who did 9/11… (Zionist)

Its weird, when you actually research the bible the vibe changes

For example ‘cut off your hand if it causes you to sin, for it is better to walk one handed, than to walk two handed in hellfire’

Gehenna is hellfire in greek

Gehenna is the name of a buring trash pile behind jerusalem

Most people idea of hell comes from dantes inferno, pushed by the catholic church

Hell is moreso separtion from god, knowing the this, passage, as aswell as the implications of the entire belief, changes

Muslim? 72 virgins? Best religion but kinda makes it a joke and prove how false it is

And you, on the other hand, are above all the sheep
Nigga it’s not about me being better, it’s about how it’s a good method for niggas to stop paying taxes and make money off of the poor

All religions suck but Islam is the worst objectively

Yeah, even slightly researching into the bible it was filled with unexplainable weird things that didn’t seem moral to me

It’s false cuz u it promises u 72 virgins. That’s such a lame bait
It’s not promised to everyone. Also it’s not “bait” to get you to convert.

The entire idea of worshipping and submitting yourself to God is what the religion is. And to those who do there’s a reward. Not everyone’s gonna have 72 virgins wives, some are going to have 2 ( at the lowest)

It depends how well you did in this life

I think the church purposely overstepped for the time, which was needed for Europe historically

But since the church was taken over, it became about control rather than pushing a cause

If you never read the bible you would have no idea how jesus really was

He flipped over tables and chased people out of his temple, movies would have you believe he was a hippie

Jesus was just some peace-loving hippie dude, Mohammad was a warlord who had a 6 year old wife (who he fucked when she was 9)
Ur falling for the Zionist propaganda

The prophet Muhammad wasn’t a “warlord”

He fought in wars because at the time wars went on so he had to fight along side his nation

And his wife Aisha was past the age of maturity once they consummated the marriage

Literally everybody got married incredibly young back then, it was of the customs. Thousands of people hated him back then and not once did they bring this up. It’s only within the last decade this has been a conversation of concern for people because they don’t understand that being “18” doesn’t automatically mean ur mature

Inb4 anyone calls me an angry christian, IM AGNOSTIC. Aisha wasn't mature, she was playing with dolls when Muhammad found her which means she still has the mind of the child (because dolls are banned for adults due to idol worship or something like that). If Muhammad truly is someone to be followed throughout all of history then he wouldn't have married Aisha at 9 which is frowned upon now due to the brain being underdeveloped (if you think Aisha was mature at 9 years old then youve never interacted with kids). There are more weird things in the Quran as well when you do a bit of research, I could objectively even say more than Christianity.

Retard 72 virgins isnt in the Quran it’s some Hadith (historical account) thats considered weak (so Muslims don’t believe in it)

Only reason it’s gone viral is because of the terrorist retards using it to garner members

Even worse. They have this called “Hadith” and if they don’t like what it says it’s “weak”

Again proving how much of a joke they are

Wow youre retarded

Hadith are historical accounts remembered by random people who then narrated it orally till it was written down a couple hundred years later.

A weak Hadith is a historical account that was not widely remembered by people, which means it is likely heavily altered or made up.

It has nothing to do with whether they don’t like it. It was considered weak in the medieval era, back when it would be very beneficial to believe it as true to get people to fight for their country.

Butthurt muslim over here relax just enjoy ur 72 virgins

Some Christian denominations are more austere, but others like Orthodox Christianity like to show off - the Churches have lots of gold in them, expensive decorations, the priests wear fancy clothes with gold of them, etc.

Have you heard of the islamic dilemma?
Yeah, even slightly researching into the bible it was filled with unexplainable weird things that didn’t seem moral to me
Can you give examples where you find it immoral? There are gruesome parts, such as in numbers where Moses will do things or something, but those are both not God and still canon in Islam. Personally I find surah an nisa verse 34, without even debating over stuff like the true age of Aisha, this verse is clearly against our moral standards. Imo if we disagree with God morally we are wrong so I think we should both look past out personal moral judgements

And the weaker Hadiths are historical accounts that were said by people who were known to have bad memory at the time / were unreliable. For a Hadith to be authentic the chain must be strong and complied with people with strong memory and they must be trustworthy.

How convenient :ROFLMAO: something we don’t like in our religion “oh the person who wrote it had bad memory” what a joke of a religion

Not even gonna get into its origins through the Catholic Church

What exactly about verse 34 of Surah nisa do you find immoral?

In the bible I find
1 Corinthians 11:6 immoral

As it practically tells women to shave their heads off if they don’t cover it

There’s many others

No, it’s just usually disregarded and people don’t see it as authentic therefore it’s not “apart” of the religion

the main compiler of Hadith Al Bukhari collected about 600,000 Hadith but only used about 1% in his book, around 7,275.

Anyways ur coming off like u just hate religion im not here to argue with u all day ur spewing non sense so I have to correct it

It says to strike your woman after you already ignore her constantly because she is disobedient. Firstly, if that was what it said I really wouldnt care and dont see the problem, I was expecting some actual issue like slavery or killing but ok. Secondly, it says to wear a veil or it is as though she has her head shaved, which you muslims sure like? What Paul means in context however is that her long hair is a gift of glory from God, and covers her, but that depending on culture hence why he mentioned the culture if its bad to have no head garment she should do it else she may as well do any number of dishonourable things to her hair. So it says the opposite of what you said.

You also conveniently avoid the islamic dilemma, you should be excited for it since its an internal critique and you love your quran

In Surah nisa verse 34 it doesn’t say to beat her ruthlessly or even hit her. In self defence cases this may be necessary.

There is a long tafsir (explanation) about this verse that I’m sure you don’t wanna read, so I just copied pasted it into chatgpt and told it to summarize it.

Surah An-Nisa (4:34) explains that men are the caretakers and protectors of women. The Arabic word “qawwam” means one who is responsible for managing and maintaining order. In Islam, every group or family needs a leader to keep harmony, and Allah has given this role to men due to their physical strength, reasoning ability, and financial responsibility. This position is not about superiority, but about duty and accountability. Men must treat women kindly, act with justice, and consult them in family matters.

The Qur’an gives two reasons for men’s authority: one is Allah’s divine wisdom in creating different strengths in men and women; the other is that men provide financial support, pay the dowry, and bear the household’s expenses. Righteous women are described as obedient to Allah, cooperative with their husbands, and protective of their modesty and household.

If a wife becomes uncooperative, Islam advises a three-step approach: first, gentle advice; second, separation in bed; and third, a light, symbolic tap as a last resort—never harsh or harmful. The Prophet ﷺ discouraged this practice and emphasized mercy. Ultimately, Islam upholds equality in worth between men and women while assigning them different roles to ensure balance, peace, and justice in family life.

The verse never talks about hitting women. It talks about gently tapping them, hitting women in Islam is strictly forbidden. Physical violence is the last resort to conflicts 100% of the time.

I assume you speak arabic btw? The arabic word is literally strike, there is no mention of being gentle or tapping.اضربوهن litterally means to strike a group/person of a group that are women. Additionally, its wrong to hit your wife no matter what. And lets make sure not to lie about the quran which is haram, it is not strictly forbidden but just striking the face

I don’t speak Arabic but the tafsir is coming from Arabic speaking people who studied the Quran all their lives.

Are you Arab?
