Yeah, something strange happened to me yesterday.
I was walking home from school and I was really hungry, so I spent the whole way thinking about food. When I got home, I went straight to the kitchen and made myself a sandwich.
While I was eating, I started looking for my phone. I checked the table, the couch, my backpack, and even the refrigerator. Nothing.
Then I started getting nervous because I was sure I had it with me at school. So I walked around the whole apartment looking everywhere. After about 20 minutes, I gave up and decided to call my phone using the landline.
I picked up the phone, dialed my number, and suddenly heard a ringtone.
From my room.
I went in.
The ringing seemed to be coming from my desk.
I looked at the desk.
Nothing.
The ringing got louder.
I moved everything off the desk.
Still nothing.
Then I realized the sound wasn’t coming from the desk at all.

The most embarrassing part is that I had even put my hand in my pocket while searching for my phone and still didn’t realize it was there.
