I am (like probably most people here) someone that searches for the truth. I have been through some things in my life that have hardened me mentally and have, on the way, also acquired enough people knowledge to pretty much see through people.

However, when I interact with people, it's because I want to find the truth. I want to see perspectives that are different from my own until the point that I am as developed of a person as I can be.

I started university, and Im trying to make friends, but it's almost impossible. Sure, people are kind, and they're not some turbo autists or anything, but they are so f*ing shallow and narrowminded. They have been through nothing in their life, most live with their parents, and they have absolutely no knowledge, apart from what they've been fed by the mainstream and school.
That isn't necessarily bad because they can't help it, but... the whole conversation consists of talking without saying anything. It's to say things that are accepted by as many people as possible. Ultra conformists. It's mentally tiring. It's a bit like talking to NPCs. There is also no fun aspect to it, which would make a conversation not necessarily need to be useful. The convo simply lacks any added benefit.

Am I too high IQ, or am I simply autistic?

I can't relate to these people. They're very childish and narrowminded. They don't even let you finish your sentence. No depth at all. "Keep the convo as shallow and simple as possible" seems to be their default mode.

Does anyone have any similar experience?

Could be that you have adhd

But in general, conversations with people you dont really know, suck.
It takes time and effort to find the right people and social circles where you vibe better.

Idk, having adhd is actually good for NT because you aren't boring in convos. I don't think I have it though. I'd rather say I tend to go into depth in convos too much sometimes.
Yeah, I didn't have the same problem at all when I met people from different cultures. Maybe cus it gave me sustained dopamine and they actually interested me.
I find Dutch people really boring. They often lack personality and depth.

That’s autistic normies participate in conversation for fun and social bonding not for some high iq development bs.

For someone who wants to develop you sure have a massive ego lol. Most normies have struggled in life especially with the dating market being so shit. And I’m sure if you asked them about their interests you could learn some stuff you didn’t know.

The point of conversation at entry level is to establish basic social bonding and trust.
There is also no fun aspect to it, which would make a conversation not necessarily need to be useful. The convo simply lacks any added benefit.
If you were close to them normies would joke around with you which is the main fun aspect. Other than that if you have similar activities most people enjoy talking about that stuff.

You sound autistic. Conversation progresses and gets better with you level of friendship. It goes
1. Small talk
2. Mutual activity/Hobby Talk
3. Joking around/Gossiping
