Ukraine lost 16.25% of its population between 2021 and 2023, through immigration and war-related deaths. Before the war, they already had the lowest birth rate in Europe, with only 8 babies being born for every 1000 people.

If this war continues for the next 5 years, Ukraine will have a population of less than 30 million people, a large number of these being old people - because most of the soldiers dying in this war are young. Their ratio of men to women will also be ruined.

Ukraine as we know it, is doomed. It will never be the same again. Lots of people dying or leaving the country + very low birth rate = demographic death.
