Gratitude
Gratitude
is the practice of being thankful for the good things in our lives, no matter how small they may seem. Being grateful and thankful can have numerous benefits for both mental and physical health. Studies have shown that gratitude can improve resilience, stress management, self-control, relationships, and sleep, among other things. Keeping a gratitude journal or participating in a gratitude activity are some simple ways to increase gratitude and reap its benefits. Christina Costa, a neuroscience and psychology expert, explained how focusing on what you're grateful for immediately activates the "feel-good" neurotransmitters of dopamine and serotonin and decreases stress hormones like cortisol. Dispositional gratitude, defined as having a positive outlook towards life, has been associated with good physical health and therefore with better looks.

How to become more grateful:
  1. Start by acknowledging the things you have in your life that you can be thankful for. It could be your health, family, friends, home, job, or any other blessings that come to mind.
  2. Make a habit of expressing gratitude on a daily basis. You can do this by keeping a gratitude journal, where you write down three things you are thankful for each day, or simply by taking a few minutes each day to reflect on what you are grateful for.
  3. Practice mindfulness and be present in the moment. When we are present and focused on what is happening in the present moment, we are more likely to notice and appreciate the good things in our lives.
  4. Reach out to others and offer help or support. By focusing on the needs of others, we can shift our focus away from our own problems and be more thankful for what we have.
  5. Surround yourself with positive, grateful people (very important, remove toxic people). Being around others who have a positive attitude and express gratitude can have a contagious effect, and inspire you to be more thankful as well.
  6. Take time to reflect on the things you have accomplished and the progress you have made in your life. Achieving your goals and making progress can bring a sense of fulfillment and gratitude.
  7. Finally, focus on the positive and look for the good in every situation. When we focus on the positive, we are more likely to find things to be thankful for, even in difficult times.

Combine this with the Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction (LoA) suggests that people can attract positive events, experiences, and outcomes into their lives by focusing their thoughts, emotions, and beliefs on what they want to manifest. According to this law, like attracts like, and by focusing on positive, empowering thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, one can attract more positive experiences and outcomes into their life. This can be both positive and negative experiences.

When we practice gratitude regularly, we shift our focus from what we lack to what we already have, and this positive outlook attracts more positive experiences into our lives. The more we focus on what we're grateful for, the more we see the world through a lens of abundance, and the more we naturally attract abundance into our lives. This can manifest in various forms, such as better looks, better health, more money, better looking foid, and more. When we're feeling grateful, we're vibrating at a high frequency, and this attracts more positive experiences and opportunities into our lives. On the other hand, when we focus on what we lack and feel negative emotions like anger, frustration, or resentment, we attract more of those negative experiences into our lives.

How to use the Law of Attraction
  • Get clear on what you want: The first step is to identify what you want to manifest in your life, be it a person, a situation, an experience, or material things.
  • Believe in the possibility: Once you have clarity on what you want, believe that it is possible to manifest it into your reality. The more you believe in the possibility, the more likely you are to attract it.
  • Focus on positive thoughts and feelings: Shift your thoughts and emotions towards the positive aspects of what you want. Visualize yourself already having what you desire, and experience the emotions and feelings associated with having it.
  • Take inspired actions: The Law of Attraction is not just about visualization, it's about taking aligned actions that bring you closer to your desired outcome. Focus on the actions that feel good and inspired, and avoid those that don't.
  • Let go of attachment: Letting go of attachment means not worrying about how, when or where your manifestation will happen. Trust the universe to bring it to you in the best way possible, and let go of any need to control the outcome.
  • Surround yourself with positive energy: Seek out positive people, engage in positive activities, and eliminate negative influences from your life.
  • Be patient: The Law of Attraction takes time, so be patient and persistent. Keep focusing on your desires, and trust that they will manifest in due time.

The Law of Attraction is true to an extent and not always how everyone explains it. Self affirmations lots of times comes from a person whoโ€™s lacking motivation and is trying to find a way out so they keep telling themselves โ€œI am thisโ€, โ€œI will be richโ€ โ€œI have loads of moneyโ€ and they fall for the self guru books because they have nowhere else to go. They lack purpose so now theyโ€™re reading books like the master key and the secret thinking theyโ€™ll have some divine powers. The best way to manifest is to visualize with honest intent. If you are a 4/10 in whatever and you can see yourself becoming an actual REASONABLE 7/10 in a few years, that is a form of manifestation and belief. If you put ALL your faith into it and stay consistent, it will be yours. It takes time but constantly doing anything will make you a god at it . The truth is envisioning/visualizing and being consistent.

Good thread OP. I'm unironically grateful for everything in my life even though it is not the best by any measurements. I just remember that it could always be worse, I could be deformed, poor, with a fucked up family and bad health.

"Oh but chad has it better bro!" - if you that's any of you's first reaction then it's over for your pussy brain

Yeah good luck with all that.
