I genuinely believe that the advances of human medicine are bringing too many weak genes into the genetic pool and exposing humanity to a weaker genetic make-up. It’s definitely gonna hurt us as a species in the future.

People are getting treated incredibly well nowadays, by otherwise devastating diseases, that they wouldn’t be able to a couple of centuries back. It’s a double edged sword

Advancement in genetic manipulation will probably counteract that, although I don't like that idea.

But you gotta be early, otherwise you will just end up behind the people who don't care about the ethics and aesthetics of it.
