the public school system failed us here’s why

the public school system in America and parts of Europe is complete shit. in America often times school funding comes from local property tax which means rich areas get better schools. poorer areas get lack of funding and overcrowding.

teachers are overworked/underpaid and simply aren’t going to work harder than they have to teach you. violence is also prevalent. fighting smoking etc.


in somewhere like Finland for example schools get good funding from the government. there’s also private schools but they are very simlar to public ones creating less of a gap. since rich parents send their kids to the same type of school as everyone else collective pressure keeps the standards up. teachers are also higher paid.
