The only real benefit is keeping your prolactin low. Dopamine & prolactin don't only play a role in sexual function but motivation, wakefulness, circadian rhythm, mental health, basically everything. Sex isn't the same in your brain chemically because dopamine levels are going to be sustained after orgasm & prolactin will go back down pretty fast. Maybe you'll have a second & third round that doesn't end in orgasm. With fapping, you're left with these high prolactin low dopamine levels which are just suboptimal for everything but chilling out & going to sleep.

If you do fap try & make it in the evening before bed. Without pornography obviously. If you end up fapping during the morning have some caffeine & do something afterwards to help shift your ratios back to normal faster.
