Knew someone who was from Latin America and moved here for work. They said life there was so good they want to go back.

My parents moved from South America to Germany, mostly because my mother was German. But even she said life in Bolivia felt better, despite the corruption and political instability. I guess it's because of the climate and because it's more crowded here and people are less social. Brutal locationpill.

She has health problems now and so it's not really an option to move back because the health care system in Germany is much better, but she still says she sometimes regrets that they moved here.

I live among a lot of old stone buildings and traditional wooden houses and churches, and whenever I am somewhere with modern architecture I just feel worse tbh. It has improved from what they used to build during the cold war, but it’s still pretty bad
