The real reason of hypergamy

Women are physically inferior to men, and most of them will get pregnant at some point in their lives. In more primitive times, and even now tbh, being pregnant puts women in an incredibly vulnerable position during and after pregnancy. Additionally, they have to ensure that their child survives in order to pass down their genes. That's why women are so hypergamous.

They want a man who earns more because it's only natural for them to be attracted to men who are able to provide them with resources that ensure their well being during and after pregnancy.
They don't want a man who is just taller than them, but who is taller than all the other men because height signals dominance and correlates with a man's socioeconomic status, which again increases the odds of survival for her and her offspring.

They want a man who is smarter than them, stronger, older than them, etc etc.

That's why women are only truly attracted to a small percentage of the population. They are attracted to qualities that make a man superior to others, and obviously, these men will be in the minority.

Whereas most men are only attracted to youth and other qualities that are heavily correlated with fertility.

surpise surpise peak fertility for women in their early twenties. It's not a hard requirement for a woman because most of them will fit this criteria at least one time in their life, and due to their collagen they look more youthful that men at any age for the most time + they have makeup.

Combined with a high libido of men due to the testosterone and you will see why most men would happily have sex with an 20yo ltb.


TLDR: Hypergamy isn't a new thing caused by women's inflated egos on social media. It serves a eugenic purpose. You can't simply "fix" it as a society because it is rooted in women's biology

This is why a woman's socioeconomic status has pretty much zero influence on how attractive we perceive her to be, while a man's high socioeconomic status can work as an aphrodisiac.

True but social media has exponentially increased the effect of hypergamy. It’s one thing to desire Chad , but it’s another for it to be a very feasible possibility to get him.

Men are also hypergamous too , but men don’t have the ability to realise it to the fraction of which a foid can.
