none of these compounds are being explored for ISS or and height related therapies.

top scientists have a good idea behind the actual mechanisms behind these compounds and prescribe only certain ones like GH maybe anavar for good reason, not because they are fucking gatekeeping lol

All of u think because you read an abstract and use claude it means you know the extremely complex mechanisms behind what would make someone grow taller. "oh it decreases FGFR3 = taller" imagine thinking something so mindbogglingly complex like what makes someone grow taller could be reduced to that.

end of.

the naivety and inclination to over simplify everything when you are young is what leads to people thinking they have found some hidden truth. Theres definitely some cognitive dissonance there, thats not me saying by any means that u are low iq. because of what i just said, if i were 15 i would probably be doing the exact same and contacting Wing Shing Dick Biotech for some cancer medication

I agree with this take, however a lot of the reason doctors aren't prescribing people shit like FGFR3 inhibitors is because height gain isn't their primary use, and in general it would be stupid to prescribe someone something so experimental simply because they want to grow taller. A lot of these experimental or "exotic" compounds work well on paper, but fail in the real world because they are experimental, and only for very very specific problems, like you mentioned. A lot of people think "well hypothetically" and then take it and lose their vision jfl.

Compounds that are experimental or investigational have not been tested enough to be FDA approved, especially not for height gain when it's primary target condition is like fuckin bladder cancer, so for them to be prescribed to someone because they feel insecure about their height or frame is completely unrealistic.

I do agree the whole "claude AI told me FGFR3 inhibitor = holy growth" is completely retarded, but I don't thing things of that nature aren't something worth researching. Smart people exist outside of just medicinal chemists. Ultimately, I think someone with a PHD has a much better say, but that doesn't necessarily mean we can't make independent hypotheses that think outside of the box and encourage further research. We should challenge the consensus, but from a safe distance.

Yes, theories can become "law" due to a large majority of the younger people on here accepting it without ever challenging it on a deeper scale. A lot of people will also be more inclined to research into ways to fix their insecurities, especially when it's perceived as such an important part of the way they see their self worth. People will find any way to come to a conclusion that supports "it's not over" and I think that definitely has a lot to do with it.

This is definitely a high IQ post, makes a lot of the credulous question their beliefs. I think we should definitely encourage independent research and an outside of the box mindset, but not to a point that it promotes the endangerment of our health, especially among the younger, more gullible, demographic that is ever increasing on this platform.

I really like polarizing opinions on this platform that actually get people brainstorming instead of just perpetuating the norm, I think we need more people like you on here, your opinion and others like it are very important for the growth of the community
