It's a spectrum, the extremes are people like O'Pry and on the other end there's you. The uglier your face is, the more repellent you are to people. Stop coping with muh norminess; ask yourself - do I care about the normies I meet? Will it negatively impact me If I won't befriend them? Do i want to know more about them? If you're not a bot, the answer to all of these questions is a resounding no. Why? Because they're everywhere. Who needs yet another mundane addition to their already mundane life?
Now, tip the scales. Ask yourself - Do I (hopefully a normie) care about the gl strangers I meet? Will it sting if i won't be able to befriend them? Do I immediately want to know more about them? YES, you do. It raises your ego and adds a touch of excitement to your boring life.
People have to give you a chance to shine, but, unfortunately, they can't fraction their time and attention to give that shot to the dozens of strangers they meet on a regular basis. You are subjected to a rigorous selection. Be realistic - who's gonna get that chance? An eye candy who effortlessly floods people with dopamine or yet another grain-of-sand-in-a-desert forgettable face? The odds aren't in your favor, your looks render you an unfavorable choice. You're going against the grain and you don't even know it because you have special snowflake syndrome.
