Everyone's seen the videos of grown women insinuating that they were the second coming of Plato at 8 years old, but why do they do this?

The above-average effect:

The above-average effect is a well-studied phenomenon where most people, particularly those who score within the average range, tend to overestimate their abilities by a moderate-to-significant amount. Psychologists find people with low skill or knowledge in a specific topic tend to overestimate their competence. They lack the very knowledge needed to recognize how little they know. You'll see this happen very often with women who post about politics.

If you would please consult the graph :geek:☝️

Here, you see women heavily cluster towards the average, whereas men have a greater variability. What does this insinuate, and what does it have to do with the above-average effect? Well, you see, since a much larger percentage of women sit right in the center of the graph compared to men, naturally, a larger amount of women will suffer from the above-average effect. In this case, they estimate their intelligence to be higher than it is. This loops back to their ideology of believing they had revolutionary thoughts at a young age whilst boys were chewing on Lego bricks.

Superiority Complex:

The form of superiority that forms within these women is actually one that stems from deep-rooted insecurity. From a young age, little girls are often separated from boys in activities since they aren't as physically capable, and as adults, men outperform women is nearly every regard. Gotta feel bad for them, just a teeny tiny little bit though. Think of it as similar to the napoleon complex.

In return, women use their overestimated intelligence, or any fantasy, as a form of coping, believing they have something they outperform men in. The most common form you'll see this happen in is fiction, considering females outperforming males is historically rare. It's why so many foids love seeing powerful women in media, or even female animals that overpower their male counterparts, it plays out a fantasy which either cannot happen in the real world or doesn't apply to humans.

Pretty useless post, but it's interesting to delve into the foid mindset.

from an evolutionary perspective, women only needed to be smart enough to be able to raise children and be socially capable while men relied on severe outliers in order to progress society, everything we've ever achieved happened due to an outlier of intelligence, our entire world is built upon the work of geniuses.
