idk where you live but in my country universities, professors and scientific literature don't get "promoted" by the government. our government is center-right and our most popular party is pretty far on the right while most universities are more left-leaning and socially liberal.

it actually takes some time and dedication to digest the information provided in well-researched literature. it's way easier to just go on the internet, watch some videos or browse some forums that just reinforce your beliefs and don't challenge your views at all (algorithm). that's why I called you a sheep. yes, there can be some valuable info online but most if it is not free.
